HYPOXIC Simulation System

HYPOXIC MEDIA

At sea level, the composition of air consist 78% of nitrogen and 21% of oxygen by volume, which is comfortable for human being but at high altitude this composition of air is changed and the percentage of oxygen is reduced.

In hypoxic media 5-10% oxygen substitute by same amount of nitrogen concentration. Hypoxic system is the making of an artificial chamber to maintain atmosphere as per human requirement within the given space.

HYPOXIC SYSTEM

SAM’s Hypoxic simulation system is well designed chamber for athletics training or sports training and for the purpose of research and development. It is also use for fire prevention system. This chamber is designed to control atmospheric condition by maintaining CO2 and O2 level inside chamber or space.

This chamber also having ability to maintain temperature and humidity level inside hypoxic chamber. It has features of controlling O2 and CO2 level at a given space and simulate the high altitude environmental condition at normal sea level.

Generation of Hypoxic Air

Generation of Hypoxic air is based on the membrane gas, and, through separation technique, air is drawn from ambient to membrane module, targeted gases are then separated based upon the difference of diffusivity and solubility. In membrane module, oxygen will be separated from the ambient air and collected at upstream due to high diffusivity, whereas nitrogen rich gas (Hypoxic air) is collected at the downstream of module. This hypoxic air purges into a chamber, and, here Oxygen level according to the different altitude conditions is controlled.

• The number of membrane, size of air compressor, capacity of dryer depends upon the volume of chamber and Oxygen level to be maintain inside the chamber. For more information and design calculation consult or contact us
